Holidays 2010

so far iv been to two Bazaars this entire Christmas Holiday.. & i wouldnt even be in one if it werent for my lil sister.. i decided to go with her just so i can experience what its like.. she's been tellin me a bunchful of stories about her experiences with her online shop & the likes.. i cannot really relate to it, because im not as business minded as her.. not even as passionate about fashion like her & i have a full time career of my own to worry about.. in short, i just dont have the time to do the things she does.. bein on the internet a lot.. my daily routine consist of me sleepin throughout the day & then goin to work at night.. thats my prime time right there.. where i need to deal with a lot of admin stuff as i handle two international accounts for AT&T which is the number one telecommunication provider in the US.. & those 2 accounts consist of UNITED AIRLINES & EMERSON.. i handle all of their Telephone system in all the airports in the US.. so its quite a big responsibility for me & this job has been my main focus eversince i started out in the call center industry.. i cant even imagine how 2011 will be like for me as my Boss just gave me yet another account which is MEAD JOHNSON & along with that il be dealing with IBM a lot.. juggling 2 accounts ALONE is already a handful.. what more 3.. dont get me wrong, i am not complaining.. i love my job, i love what i do & who i spend it with at the office.. but knowin myself as bein a laid back, chillax person that i am.. for sure my body will soon be lookin for a Vacation or a Hike maybe & havin all these, goin away from work might be harder this time around.. 

brushing those thoughts in mind because it kinda depress me & goin back to Bazaars.. i find it a little bit weird & at the same time i feel like its tiring.. you know setting up the place.. havin to stay there the whole day & catering to customers.. i wonder how Big Companies do it.. well they for sure have high end technology & the man power to do so.. but it then reminded me again that there is no easy job.. every job i know has its pros & cons.. & the only way to succeed is by stayin focused, love what you do, stay humble & keep on learning..

i really cant say much about Bazaars because iv only got to experience it for a few hours since i had to live the life of my own & i have schedules to do for those dates.. but im happy that it resulted to somethin positive for my lil sister whom i know is workin hard for these kinds of things that she loves to do.. also meeting  fellow nice entrepreneurs is always somethin to look forward to..

Brown Bag Market - The Collective (7274 Malugay St. Makati City)

i came from shift & went there with my lil sis & her bestfriend.. her boyfriend & his helper was also there to set her shop.. i left at around past 12nn & there were a couple of people already but given that its a saturday, people are mostly lazy to wake up early just to shop.. although most of the booths were already set up as early as 9am as the Bazaar officially starts at 10am..

i loved the place.. had the Tattoo shop been open before i left, i might've gone crazy & got one for myself.. since its been a while that iv been contemplating in getting inked.. if not for my Dad disliking the idea.. there was this Art Store i think that amazed me just by merely lookin at the displays from outside & since im a fan of art in any form, it caught my attention as i passed by.. but i got too shy to come in since i wasnt really plannin of buyin anythin & thats just how i am.. maybe if i get the chance again next time, il explore this shop.. i was also waiting for Pasta Box to open since my sister said their pasta is good & im all for food & starving since we didnt eat breakfast yet but i left the place & they're still not open.. later that night i learned that my sister's first Bazaar was a Success!

Bazaar for All Seasons - UP Bahay ng Alumni, Diliman Quezon City

i again helped my sister set up her shop & stayed a bit longer (i can only stay until 1pm since i need to sleep cuz i came from shift & have a party that same night).. i loved this Bazaar more despite the fact that theres no fancy art store.. no fancy restaurants around.. no fancy tattoo shop or fancy graffiti on the walls.. the place is much more spacious.. much more stores can be found.. although that can mean, more competitors for us but then again, thats where your creativity comes into place.. if what you sell is edgier than those who sell clothes like you do then i guess you can withstand competition.. the market has a lot to offer & its up to you if what you have will get you to stand out from the rest.. & my sis said she made pretty good sales here as well..

the ambiance here is much more friendly & nice.. maybe cuz it caters to a different class bracket as well.. plus, UP is Home.. that simply explains the cozyness i felt here.. i ended up goin through the whole Bazaar checkin out other stores & bein greeted warmly by other entrepreneurs & shoppin for myself! haha
